Queens Boulevard begins its Phase II introduction of  bicycle lanes in Elmhurst on the heavily travelled roadway.   Businesses and fraternal organizations upset at the loss of scores of on-street parking.   (Seen in photos below:  outside the Italian Charities Building at the corner of Queens Boulevard and Van Loon Street).
